art for social change . Projects . oil; at what cost?
This cross-media art project portrays the causes and enormous consequences of oil-exploitation in the Ecuadorian Amazon and other rainforests through image, sound and interaction.
As a floodlight on the rainforest and a mirror for the West,
‘OIL; at what cost?’ serves to raise our awareness of the stark reality.
Creation of consciousness is our mission, construction of responsible behaviour the ultimate objective.
With ‘OIL; at what cost?’ we base our plea for clean energy, and our criticism against all energy that is polluting.
